From Tarbet to Applecross, Scotland

Further information

It’s that time again… Lycra season is calling. 🚴‍♂️

Webtrends Optimize is once again organising their annual charity bike ride in support of the Starr Trust, proudly co-sponsored by The Implant Centre.

Thanks to Webtrends Optimize and The Implant Centre, all ride costs (accommodation, support vehicle, logistics, etc.) are covered — you only need to pay for your flights.

This year they’re heading to Scotland to ride the lochs before taking on the mighty Applecross Pass.

The team will be flying out to Glasgow on 11th September and returning from Inverness on 15th.

The Route

Day 1 – 12th September

92 miles  – Tarbet → Fort William

A scenic 92-mile opener through stunning Scottish loch-side roads. Regroup in Fort William for dinner and share stories from the day.

Day 3 – Final Day

39 miles – Featuring the Applecross Pass

A shorter day in distance… not in effort. The Applecross Pass awaits. It climbs. A lot. But the views are spectacular.

After conquering the climb and crossing our finish line, the riders head to Inverness for our final night - celebratory dinner, drinks, and the traditional “we’re never doing this again” speeches (until next year).
