It is with deepest sadness that we share news of the passing of Nik Askaroff, the founder and Chief Executive of EMC Corporate Finance. Nik suffered a sudden cardiac arrest whilst travelling in the Far East over the Christmas period.

Nik was a personal friend of our founder Rob and somebody he respected personally and professionally. He was a keen Starr Trust supporter and only last summer held a fundraising day for us in their Rochester Gardens office, where he hired an ice cream van and invited all his clients and their families to make donations to the Starr Trust whilst enjoying an ice cream on him. We know he was a keen golfer and had planned on attending our Golf Day this year. With that in mind we felt this was the perfect tribute to him to hold our Golf Day in his name.

Our hearts go out to Nik’s loved ones at this difficult time. Please keep them in your thoughts.
