The Jazz Jamboree Orchestra (JJO) is a Sussex based amateur jazz ensemble directed by trombonist Mark Bassey. It comprises 25-30 musicians - brass, saxes, woodwind, rhythm section and vocalists.

The orchestra play a delightful mix of jazz and popular music (from Duke Ellington and Cole Porter to Simon and Garfunkel, and Freddie Mercury) plus some original compositions - swing, latin, funky, rocky.

The arrangements are by Mark and other members of the group. The sound of the full orchestra is magnificent, full of warmth and vitality. Come on down to the jamboree!
