Starrs ‘n’ Roses align to create new opportunities for local children

The Starr Trust and local PR agency Rose Media Group announce a long-term partnership that will see the two organisations working closely together on a range of campaigns to help remove barriers and realise the dreams of young people across Sussex.

It’s the perfect timing for the Starrs ‘n’ Roses to come together! Rose Media, an award-winning agency based in Burgess Hill and led by Aneela Rose, has been keen to support a local children’s charity and upon meeting Rob Starr at a recent Best of British Event, it was clearly a match made in Rosy heaven.

To mark the start of the relationship, a group of young people supported by The Starr Trust were invited to have some fun putting their agility and skill to the test at HADO AR Sports in Hove - the world’s first augmented reality techno sport.

Rob Starr, Co-founder of The Starr Trust, said: “It’s amazing to have the support from Rose Media Group and Aneela’s energy in particular is off the chart! To have this level of support means so much, as a small charity as we are, to get the message out there and tell people what we do. Communicating this message is just so important. I’m beyond grateful, it’s absolutely wonderful.”

Aneela Rose, Managing Director of Rose Media Group, added: “An amazing charity that’s really close to our agency’s heart as we’re on a renewed journey to make a positive impact, to educate and to inspire the younger generation. It’s more than PR, we’ll be taking an active role in mentoring young people and providing workplace opportunities too.”

Harrison, aged 11 attended the launch event and said: “It was really nice to be invited today, I’m not a big fan of sports so it was fun trying out something new, thanks to The Starr Trust!”
